Lots of action...but also lots of profanity!
Movie:
21 Jump Street How can this movie be rated G???
Nice story, badly done....too much profanity for my liking...I hope real life is not like this! Some of the characters were refreshing, but all in all, did not like it. Save your money!

My movie pass showed that it was rated R.
It's rated R. Idiot.
What did you expect when you went to see this movie? A family movie? you obviously have not seen a Jonah Hill movies. This movie was hilarious.
That's because you should have been in the Lorax movie don't watch adult humor and knock it because your an old bitty!
I agree. The movie is rated R, not G. In comparison to other movies, the profanity level was not off the charts at all. *shrug* to each their own, I suppose.
Seriously????? 21 Jump Street rated G?????? Try it was rated R, maybe you need to get glasses!
Evidently none of you saw Bridesmaids, which was hands down the funniest movie of 2011. It was raunchier and had more sex than 21 Jump Street. As far as actual profanity, this movie has less than the average rated R movie in any genre, but it was cruder (potty language) than others. For all you all that are a little "sensitive," try reading the reasoning for the rating; they put it there was a reason.
This is what you have to expect nowadays with a rated R comedy. It's going to be raunchy, obscene, loud and naked. And I for one am all for it!
The movie is definitely rated R, and rightly so. Should almost be rated X in some spots. It seems like comedies especially think they have to go over the top to be funny. I suppose in times like these it is hard to make people laugh. The general public is becoming so desensitized. I thought the movie was really funny, and I enjoyed it quite a bit. But I do have to agree that it didn't need all the profanity, and especially the nastier scenes, to make it a good movie.
Ummm, this movie is rated R. Don't know where you got the G rating from. It's definitely made for adults. There was barely any sex in the movie at all (surprisingly), not very many gross out scenes and not that much profanity. It was funny on its own merits.
not that much profanity??????????????????????????? wow, what planet are you on - UR-ANUS?
It's rated R. :) I still believe it did not have as much profanity as other movies and it definitely did not have as much nude or sex scenes compared to other movies.
Compare what you want, but it did have too much for the type of movie that it was.. a comedy. Would have been a greater movie without all the garbage. It had enough profanity and unnecessary sex scenes to destroy the movie.
Well, look at other movies rated R that are comedies that are widely known to be great...Hangover is one example. To me, it's more like you were misinformed about the movie before watching it (hence you believing it to be rated G), turning you off from the movie. Instead of rating a movie bad do to your own preference of comedies, you should have not rated at all. And as far as sex scenes go, there was really only 1, and that was at a party in which was barely 5 seconds of the whole movie to "destroy" anything. In the end, it's just your opinion, but it's a poor one. Please be a bit more fact based and have more information on a movie before you watch it, and definately before you rate it.
